Within the last year I have learned about jumping worms and then found most of my gardens invaded! (I thought they were young earthworms, which are also invasive by the way.) There is a lot of misinformation out there on the subject. So far the best resource I have found for the northeast is from Massachusetts

I now take my small bucket out with me every trip to my gardens with 2-4 � of one part vinegar to three parts water. (Faster than soap and water. ) I wash my gloves and tools after each use as well as the bottoms of my shoes I take note not to go from an infested garden to a non-investive. I also make sure where I discard the water as the vinegar does not kill the cocoons/eggs. I searched your site and didn�t find any information on jumping worms. Hope this may help some of your readers.
