Morning Glories 2024 #03

(Linda Kay) Amarill, TX(Zone 7a)

Glad to hear that.

Quote from patootie :
Thanks Helena and Linda. I have a darker Purple Tie Dye this morning.
Purps in tub wrong pic I sent
An angel wing Begonia also not the pic of this Begonia I would have chosen.
I can't see what pics I'm sending for sure. Hate this cheap camera.. The file I'm having to send them from, won't let me enlarge them so I can see if I have the right pic highlighted.

Thanks Nyvax

Thanks Nyvax
The unknown blue had a new bloom today, a little blurry
My hot pinks are good bloomers every day
The unknown, a complete mystery, the buds come in 3's. I can;t remember if thats a purp or tri-color trait or neither.

Hit a button and lost my whole post, Wish I knew what I;m hitting.by mistake.
Thanks Linda. So far I'm only impressed with my hot pinks. They never disappoint.

Beautiful blooms Jackie. Glad you and your hubby feel better.
I had two blooms yesterday that the rain damaged. This mornings bloom I placed on the patio when I saw the bud yesterday. But it seems to be a little blurry when enlarged. Seed from Azuremore grown in 2023.2012

Pretty bloom Helena..
One of my blooms open today looks like Plum Surprise a little.. I'll send pics later

I have a lovely mg open today, not sure what it is, My vines so tangled and the wrong
tags in the pots. guess I did a sorry job of gathering and naming seeds. That's what happens when you let the vines get too tangled.
# 2 can't be Plum Surprise, it starts out a deep blue
# 3 coming from a smaller vine, no id..

Beautiful blooms Jackie.
Hard to untangle vines, I've done it a few times.
No blooms for me today.

Jacksonville, AR(Zone 7b)

Thanks Helena, I do have a Fuji no Beni label close to this bloom.
This is a large bloom and no beni is usually a small bloom for me.

My only bloom actually darker than the picture shows. My new tropical and my turtle friend stopping by this morning.
I've never seen them holding their fruit before.

Lovely bloom Helena and is your new tropical a Crossanda? Love the orange color,
Good to see your turtle friend, 1st time since last year. I didn't know they could hold
things either.
I couldn;t get a good pic but Becky's (who used to post here) LYK morning glory bloomed. Lady Yagaruma Kaleidoscope. On this side of the trellis the pic is always too dark
The extra large bud that never opened belonged to this plant. Today it opened a bloom, even tho it split, maybe because it was so large and made this 8 inch bloom,.
The unknown vine flaked
a bunch of these hot pinks

Beautiful blooms Jackie. I like when the blooms are large.
My new tropical is a Mandevilla 'Pink Erin' from Nature's Way Farm in Miami, Fl.
I bought it at Lowes, haven't been there for awhile.
Three blooms today, first 2 from same vine. The other bloom has some defects.
A pink bloom from another hardy hibiscus.

Thanks Helena.,Your Purple Tie Dye in 2 different patterns is gorgeous. Mine is making the lighter blooms too but has not made me a beautiful dark patterned bloom like yours has,The soft pink is a beauty I love its muted color.
I need to grow some hardy Hibiscus too since I havent been doing well with the tropical Hibiscus.
Getting ready to start a new thread with my Weird Saz bloom, first one I've had in several years.
