Propping up flower pots - Wind tips them over

I have about 20-25 plants in pots in my yard. Some are quite tall or wide like brugmansias and philodendrons. All are in saucers. When we have a windy day many of my pots tip over. I don't really have a sheltered place for the plants. Has any one found something to keep pots from tipping over in the wind?

I do not like guy wires (trip hazard). I have used 4 cement blocks around each pot but that doesn't look too great plus the blocks have to be on the outside of the saucers so some of the plants still tip over. My local nursery suggested I burry a larger pot and set my small plant pot inside. That would work but there's no room for a saucer (I like a saucer especially for my brugs). I was going to make a square wooden frame (1x2's), set a pot in it, then attach wooden supports at a 45 degree angle. That's a lot of work for all my plants. What I might try is using thick stiff wire, bend one end into a "U" (loop it over the edge of the pot), and stick the other end in the ground at a 45 degree angle. Thick wire meaning, from political signs or the type of wire used to hold insulation between rafters. I've used insulation wire to hang pots.

So... How do others keep their plants from tipping over in the wind??
