Hi,
I am trying to salvage a fir tree from armillaria root rot. This would be its 3rd year of visible disease damage.
It says here: "If your conifer is dying from evergreen root rot, shovel the moist dirt from around the roots and let them dry."
Should I give it a try or there is just no way to defeat armillaria fungus ?
If yes, to what depth, in what time of the year and for how long ? I should note that some 40% of this tree's roots are situated under a concrete alley that will not be dug up.
Thank you
