How exciting for you to be raising caterpillars.
Your blooms are beautiful today.

Congratulations on the new sprouts Jackie.

Thanks Linda. I've got my cups ready to plant more as soon as I can get to it.

So happy my Wisteria bloomed.. I thought the nights down to 0 and 1 would
have destroyed my blooms.
It is purple but I love this shot of it looking blue # 2

Very pretty blooms today ladies.
Wish wisteria would grow and bloom here. I have had several plants, one is almost 7 years old. Not a bloom yet. It will get removed, if it doesn't bloom this year. It hasn't started putting new growth yet. Our hard freeze may have killed it.

Jacksonville, AR(Zone 7b)

Lovely blooms today Helena. We've lucked out and missed out on most of the rain today.
Linda, don't dig up your wisteria yet,. Mine was a side growth and took 7 to 8 yrs before the 1st blooms. so give it a little longer

Gautier, MS

Thanks ladies.
If I had to do it over I would not have planted wistirea, crossvine, trumpet vine, Carolina jasmine even though I love the flowers they send runners all over and get invasive in MS. Theres a few others including indica mg.
A few more mgs and my rosey lilac blooming.

Lovely blooms this morning Helena.
My pandy is also invasive. It sends runners way out from my original planting site,
I love my wisteria. it can invade all it wants too. Helena, having said that, my wisteria has stayed where we
planted it. It threw out a couple of runners and dh cut them off.
Linda it got down to 1 degree here and almost that cold another night and my
wisteria survived so yours should.to.
My Camellia looks awful though,my leaves look mostly dead so worried about it.

Thanks for the information on the wisteria Jackie.
Helena those blooms are beautiful.
Wish we could grow lilacs here.

Jacksonville, AR(Zone 7b)

We can't grow lilacs here either Linda, they prefer cooler zones. They have bred
some that can tolerate a little more heat.

Gautier, MS

Thanks ladies.
My caterpillars are growing good. If the plants that they're munching weren't sprayed with pesticides they should make butterflies. Otherwise my effort will be for nothing but to make me feel awful.
A few mgs this very cool morning.

Gorgeous blooms this morning Helena. Love the shibori.
Glad your caterpillars are doing good.
Our cold mornings will be Wednesday and Thursday then a warm up..,

Gautier, MS

Thanks Linda and Jackie. I've been posting pics directly from my phone cuz I have a new puter but it's a little different on downloading pictures from my phone. I'm using the computer this morning so no pics until later maybe. The other frustrating thing when I'm login in on the phone DG makes me do the login twice but at least I'm not getting filling up with pics. Login on the computer is also a lot faster than my old one.
Pretty cool this morning here too, a tiny bit windy too.

Jacksonville, AR(Zone 7b)

Helena, so happy for you that yu went ahead and got a new computer. I would love to get a new one. Looking forward to your pics
We lucked out and it did not get as cold as they predicted, at least not here in central Ar.
night blooming orchid cactus, too much sun and I don't know how or if I can filter it out.
