Two months ago, we had 3 Ravenala planted near our pool. Soon after, one started turning yellow with brown spots similar to moldy spots. The backside of the "trunk" is not as yellow. The other two yellowed a little. There has been new growth on the unhealthy one, but the most recent leaf looks odd. It has yellow stripes and what looks like a burnt hole on one edge. Some other leaves are looking crispy too. Is this a fungus? Overwatering? Pool splash? The ginger plants and elephant ears nearby look a little sad too. Any recommendations? Ps. the fourth image is the backside of the trunk (for lack of a better term).
Diseased Ravenala?
