Growing Flowers for my Wedding

Hello! I am planning a wedding for June 2022 in Virginia. Flowers are pretty expensive so I wanted to attempt growing my own flowers and use 2021 as a test trial.

I am having a blue wedding with the flowers being shades of lighter blue and white with greenery. Does anybody have any tips for how to get started or what flowers would be most successful in Virginia?
