From my own little experience the Statice flowers are long-lasting annuals with sturdy stems and compact, and it has colorful blooms that are deer resistant. Actually Statice plant complements many full sun flower beds and gardens. The history of this plant shows it was once prized as a late-summer addition to bouquets, although the new hybridized versions make it available now for longer use. The use of this plant as cut flowers is highly desirable.
