My tomatoes have looked super healthy and then within one week's time they're yellowing and getting wilted. This happens every year and I changed the area where I plant them. Does anybody know what causes this? I have very few fruits growing on them as well considering the size of the plants.
I gave up on weeding because it has gotten out of control.
Yellowing tomato leaves
Now they are brown and stopped flowering. 1 or 2 fruits but thats it. Anybody? a Blight maybe?
Leaf photos are not close up but best guess is it's a virus which is usually spread by insects. Aphids are a common vector. If it was coming from the ground up you would see a more generalized problem.
Over fertilizing leads to healthy looking plants at the expense of fruit. Excess nitrogen, while producing lush foliage, attracts disease carrying insects. I would remove and bag plants and wash hands before handling other plants in the garden.
