I purchased my house in October 2018 and really didn't get to see what was in the existing garden until last summer.
I was able to identify everything except for what's pictured. All I can say for sure is that is an herbaceous flowering perennial.
The top-down picture is from May 2019.
The flower picture was from July 2019 when it started to bloom.
I'm in Zone 6 if that helps.
Please Help Me Identify
Looks like Garden Phlox (Phlox paniculata)
Thanks. From what I could find, I was leaning in that direction.
