this wonderful plant has now started showing these lesions - should I be worried? is this overwatering? not enough light? It gets enough light I think but maybe i've given too much water?
should I be worried about these leaves??
Is this an elephant ear (Colocasia of some type)? If it is an older leaf remove it as you see fit. I would worry more about spider mites on indoor elephant ears. I constantly remove leaves in winter if any of my EE plants show bad infestations of spider mites. Outdoors in summer the growth is so rapid that any spider mite invasions is hardly noticed.
Often a sign of excessive salts in the soil due to hard water or fertilizer build up. Either flush soil thoroughly, repot in fresh soil or flush and remove some soil and top dress with new. I prefer the last method.
