Question about Sunflowers

I planted almost 100 Sunflower seeds, not thinking that they would pretty much all take. Is this bad news being so crowded and close to the house?
I did dig down 2 feet and loosen the soil first.

Depends on if you are growing them for seeds or just for the joy of sunflowers. But you may have quite a sunflower seed harvest. I would not worry about the plants, though you may want to go through and thin out the weaker plants a bit as they grow. If you live in an area with assertive White-Tail Deer, you may not have any sunflower plants if they discover them.
