This started growing in my garden last summer to about 1ft tall.
It lost its leaves over winter, but has now started to grow vigorously with light green three-leafed foliage up what is now a whip-like 3ft tall stem with greenish bark. There are no obvious branches forming as yet.
Can you tell me what it is, and will it flower.

I put your image into the iNaturalist app and the most likely contender looks like common laburnum (Laburnum anagyroides) to me. I don't know for sure, but it's a start.
