Last summer I had a couple of branches that started to break off a gooseberry bush. I went ahead and cut them off and stuck them in a pot with some potting soil and left them on my back patio. Seems as tho they actually survived. I did not plant them last year due to the small size (6-8" now), but left them in the pot which I brought inside and it's sitting in a south facing window. Question is what do I do with them now? Do I put the pot outside in a somewhat protected area and let the starts go dormant? Put them in my unheated garage in a south facing window so they can freeze over and lose their leaves but get some sun and outside air but still be protected? Or leave them in the pot inside the house and just let them keep growing?
