The leaves on my new Red Prayer Plant are not exactly smooth & healthy looking. They aren't curling up at the ends or edges, but I would describe the leaves as "buckling, puckering, or wrinkly." There are new leaves growing which is good.
They seem to be behaving as they should w/regards to opening & closing. I keep it in indirect south facing light all day, mist it twice a day for humidity and have been watering it, though I'm aware it doesn't like overly wet soil/roots.
There's also this disconcerting white area on the pot. How can I tell if it's mold or mineral deposits? I've used a moisture meter which is saying on the low side of moist. Any ideas? Please see photos!
