Uses for used lime or lemon zest

I used 1/3 Cup of dried lime zest to make a gallon of limeade. I steeped the zest twice and I was about to throw out the hydrated zest, and then wondered if it would be of some further use. I have two raised beds in my community garden or I can use it at home. Any suggestions?
