We have a Queen Emma crinum that has been in the ground just under 1 year. At this time, it is about 1 1/2 feet tall with a few leaves and several side shoots. I thought it would be much bigger by now. What am I doing wrong? It is on the west side of our property & receives full sun all afternoon.
