Left my succulents alone with my mum for the weekend, looks like it’s about to die

My boyfriend got me a cute little succulent for valentine’s day and it was growing so well with lots of bulbs. But after leaving my mother to look after it, the base of the stem looks brown, rotted and seconds from snapping, while the rest of it is okay for the most part but it’s lost a lot of its bulbs and is now horizontal instead of upright. How do I fix this???
