Hello. I am new here but hope to become an active member. While I am not really new to gardening, I recently retired an now have a lot more time to devote to it. Because of gophers, most of my edible gardening is done in containers inside a chicken fence protected structure so my efforts are small but so far productive.
I would like to start some tomatillo plants. I keep reading that they are related to tomatoes so I am wondering if, like tomatoes, they will sprout from a a dropped fruit or if I really need to separate and dry seeds first. Any insight on this?
