I am a newbie at gardening. My gardens were put in in Spring '17. From the get-go I have had problems with all of my Fire & Ice hostas, which I purchased at Lowe's. They looked great initially, but they all eventually got these thin areas in the center of the leaves, which then turned into holes, then the whole leaf died off. They did this the first year, but I was hopeful that they would be okay this year. They all did this again. I suspect that these were diseased when I bought them, but I am new at this. Can anyone tell me what is wrong?
