I purchased and planted this honeysuckle vine cutting last year. Basically it was just a twig when I got it.Last year it didn't do much.... it ended up with like 4 leaves after the entire summer. I didn't think it would make it through the winter.
Now it seems to be taking off. My ultimate vision was that it would vine up around porch railings and around the porch. There are like three Branches coming out of this. Should I cut the tops off? Then will it branch out if I do? Or do I just let it grow and it will get fuller as it matures. I have since taken it off that ornamental piece of ironwork. So basically they are just laying on the ground now. Not sure how to go about training this thing… Or if it will eventually stand up on its own. But my main question is should I prune the tops off. Sorry I'm so wordy.
New honeysuckle Vine question
Let it grow, and train the various stems in the directions you'd like them to grow.
