One of my rhubarbs first had a fist sized, white and pink tinged "head" of something that looked less and less like a ball of new leaves as the weeks went by. It was on a tall stalk shooting out of the center of the plant/
Then it started to unfold and look looser becoming three separate clumps of white looking and feeling like cauliflower heads.
By now the stems droop a bit, and the florets in each clump look like tiny bluebells.
I will get pictures if the rain ever stops, but it looks just like the pictures of "Giant Pieplant" in the Plant Files.
