Cucumber Massacre

I just planted some cucumbers in a raised bed and, within the hour, my dog jumped in breaking most of them.

I've taken measures to keep the dog out but wondered if the broken cucumber plants might come up if I left them in or if I needed to go out and replace.

We're talking broken level with the dirt. :(
