I’m zone 9a. Planted in full sun last may. Baby plants pops up too. Thanks so much if someone can identify it for me .
Name of this plant please
plant is a clerodendrum starburst
Looks like you may have a clerodendron bungei
You will be overrun with it when planted in the ground (dig it all up now and contain it ASAP before it is too late). It is Clerodendrum bungei aka Rose Glory Bower, Mexican Hydrangea, Cashmere Bouquet. I got one two years ago from a friend whose backyard was covered with it. I put mine in a pot, thinking I would just keep it contained and deadhead the blooms before going to seed. I've since dug up 8 new plants from roots that escaped the pot via the drain holes. Lesson learned - use either a saucer or put the pot on stone or concrete.
I was hoping for some kind of butterfly asclepias! Into a container right away. Thanks everyone so much for your knowledge, amazing 🤪👍👍👍
