Hi All! My daughter and I planted a bunch of sunflowers a week or so ago. We checked on them the next day and looks like squirrels had dug up all our seeds.
We bought new seeds and are going to try again. My question(s) are would it be a good idea to plant them and put clear plastic cups over them until they start to grow?
I also read somewhere that squirrels don’t like coffee grounds, do you think it would be a good idea to sprinkle coffee grounds around to detour them from our plant site?
Any advise would be greatly appreciated-my 4yr old was super bummed when they ate them the first time around!
