Hello!
What happened to my shrub? It is slowly dying and I do not have any idea why. Any help you could offer would be greatly appreciated!
Half dead shrub
Hello there kI used to live in Shutesbury. it is likely winter kill. It does not look like that plant is going to grow again. I would cut some branches at the top to verify that the wood is discolored. You could cut until you see green. If it is discolored all the way down, dig up the root mass and inspect the roots to see if the exterior of the root slakes/slides off. If so, it is root rot and probably phytophthora
