I was able to grow 4 ficus religiosa plants from seed last fall, keeping them inside under a grow light all winter. I put the biggest of the 4 outside two weeks ago and it has developed brown spots and serious yellowing on the top leaves, and the top of the petioles are brown. It is only getting direct sun a few hours per day and I thought these trees liked full sun. Is it just getting too much sun or is it something else?
Ficus religiosa, sunburn or disease?
