I've recently picked up a mini king, and the flower heads seem to die before blooming. Any tips on how to get the king to flower?
Mini King Protea, Brown flower heads
Proteas tend to not need feeding, however, if it is in a pot, you should use slow release fertilizer that is appropriate for sensitive plants ie natives, exotics that prefer low phosphorous levels
