I planted my Brugmansia a few days ago and the plant looks wilted and the leaves look burnt. Any ideas on how to save it?
Brugmansia looks like it is burnt
Frost or sun burn? Protect it for a week or two by temporary shade until it gets acclimated to its new spot.
The temps only dropped into mid to low 40’s. Maybe sun burnt. I planted and it was cloudy and I watered it in then it jumped to 85-86 degrees.
Stick your finger down in the middle of the root ball. Is it dry? If so water it well. If newly planted and the roots still in a tight rootball, the water may be missing the rootball and draining thru the looser dirt of the flower bed.
