Ju, You are not the only one who likes dandelions. I love them, when I used to be able to smell them, I'd pick the blooms and put them in a tissue so I could in hale the scent. Now I miss that smell, and the tender leaves we used for salads. Joe lays down poison. Is that mulch from your compost grinder? You are so gadget minded. Off to work!

Anderson, IN(Zone 6a)

Debra Dandelions still bring bees , " The Bees bring Fruit on the Trees " lol
Sure , the mulch from the gadget .. 1 ,, pix the blades ,,

I went used car shopping with my sister and her DD today ,, uh , hum ,, I will plant bunches beginning Monday , Hopefully past all this cold weather at night , that I am really worn out about ,

Gypsi, all so nice, peaches, bees and all.
Debra, lovely blooms, I am amazed how many tropical type plants you have there, hope the eye on the mend. Nice of hubs to help out.
Ju, those Spring blooms deserve a double post, and you certainly are the gadget guy.
I'm having a hard time pulling myself out of the garden, just love this time of the year.

Some more blooms, Angle trumpets first flowers, Oncidium orchid, lilac firespike, Confederate Jasmine

Sun Beautiful blooms , Thank you for sharing your love of the garden and gardens this time of year , !!!

Debra how do you manage those tropicals, I can't get my lonicera to bloom, and one of them looks like it has mites or something, all twisted new growth.

Magnolia, TX(Zone 9a)

I love the flowers! Glad weather is relenting for you guys. Early morning blooms...

Kitt Pretty . Way ahead of here , pretty cute pansies ,,

Magnolia, TX(Zone 9a)

Am surprised the pansies are still with me, actually. More yaupon root pulling tomorrow, and pinching any snails/webworms that show their head. Getting too hot to stay outdoors for me after about noon- avg temps days are 84* and I wilt.

Winter Springs, FL(Zone 9b)

Nice Kitt, you and I have about the same plants, mine seem to be a bit behind on blooming than yours though. My Wine and Milk lily is just about to open some flowers and so is my Day lily. Pansies don't last long here either.

Fort Worth, TX

My amaryllis are starting to bud, and my day lilies. Crinum probably not far behind. Have a lot to do.. have a good day.

I forgot to start my zinnia seeds, thank you for the reminder. I am seeing a fair amount of wild milkweed locally, in bloom, and the mesquite trees are starting to bloom. A little more rain and I may have honey

And those are very nice pictures by the way.

Excited for everyone, Spring has Sprung. Love the baby seedlings so much. Makes me feel maternal when I have those.
One day there was no blooms and the next time I looked out the snowball bush and the red buckeye has bloomed. I cut a few of each to make cuttings.

your snowball bush beat mine to the punch Debra, mine is just leafing out. it is an Annabelle Hydrangea I think, might be why

We need a May thread. Starting one Here: https://davesgarden.com/community/forums/t/1475061/
