new contest

I keep shuttleing mine between the house and a protected area on the outside. Wife says move and I take them out and a couple of days I will gradually bring them back in. Don't trust the protected area. I think I keep counting 29. I have carried them in and out so many times I think I can name them. Let's see there 6 orange jutner from Calla, 2 hibiscus from Jody, hens and chicks from Zany, candy lily from tiG, 3 tropicals from weeds, geranium from Poppy and stripe grass from Iris. No wonder my back hurts but my mind sure does feel good.

At the NY State Fair they had those coil hoses,with a faucet adapter,I hook it up to my kitchen sink and use the same sprayer that I use outside(it has lots of settings, shower mist etc...)It uncoils to 50 feet and reaches everything in the downstairs.It use to take me 1 1/2 hours to water everything a few times a week.Now its 15 minutes!!Plus I can add water to the fish tank,and the containers that have my aquatics in them.I love that hose!!I also use it to rinse my chickens when they have to have a bath before a show. Tig,think positive!We will have greenhouses next year.I have no where to put my Christmas tree.I have 137 plants just in the livingroom. Elana,I'm not saying we have a problem,now that we've discovered whats missing in our lives,we can work on it.Like a Dr Phil moment!!!LOL

I 0NLY HAVE 23 I JUST DON'T HAVE ENOUGH ROOM OR LIGHT FOR MORE. I CAN'T EVEN COMPETE. WOW SO MANY PLANTS IN POTS MY DH WOULD HAVE A HEART ATTACK IF I HAD 200 OR MORE!

Anyone care to do a count on their addiction?

I have 241 pots. Or more. I didnt count them all I believe.

Only 4 pot plants in the house. Several in garage. I feel so poor after reading this. lol

I think I have maybe 6 in the house and they are up on the fridge, freezer and tall dresser.......can't keep many plants in the house the 2 cats dig out all the dirt. I would be constantly sweeping and repotting stuff. So all my stuff is in my bubble house and wash house. Even that wouldn't be close to what some of yall have.

But you have all given me a good defense.....thanks guys.....

Oh my gosh, I don't think I want to know. Just taking a wild guess, probably around 125-150 since some of my pots at this time have more than one brug cutting in them. Still have lots of seedlings to pot up, so the numbers are going to get worse.

My husband says that there are 300 pots in the house. I'm afraid to count because I really think there's probably more than that. (if I don't count, I can just pooh-pooh him when he says that)
Where are they? A 3 tier fluorescent light stand in the kitchen with about 75 small plants and brug cuttings, 2 walls full in the living room (12' of south facing windows!), 2 walls full in our bedroom, a jillion pots in the spare bedroom (including about 40 plumeria seedlings in gallon pots, and they're the little pots in there!), and a bunch of plants and about 30 brugmansia seedlings in the basement.
I waited and waited for the greenhouse fairy to visit me, and it never came. :( Maybe next year.........

I'm not even the prince with 30 odd pots!

i will be back after a count-but i know i have 40 brugs plus everything else-lol-this will be a good one

daylily seedlings get started after christmas! :) I wasnt going to have so many this year-LOL silly me I doubled last yrs number!!!

How many pots can a pot planter grow if a pot planter pots in the house?

I have eight but if the contest was density in the gh that would be a different song. Out of self defense I think maybe some wash tubs full have got to go oh well.

In this part of the country the temp under most houses is pleanty warm enough to grow things just fine with added light but way to warm to store dalhias in. Ernie

In my living room and dining room, I have 12. One of those is 7' tall and 5' wide; another is 5' tall and 5' wide. Doesn't leave room for many other plants, LOL.

I didn't bother to count what's in my bedroom, kitchen and office windows but it's plenty. I gave away many of my houseplants this fall, anticipating a move (which hasn't happened yet).

77 in the house and 2 hanging baskets in the garage, oh and two dormant amarylis that are about to be potted up out of the garage. Oh and the three big pots with my EE's in them in the garage. Oh and, just kidding ;)

I finally counted ~

75 plants
9 big brug trees
49 brug cuttings are potted
30 brug cuttings not yet potted

Puts me at 133
And when I get the other 30 potted I will be at 166

And I have not started any seeds yet. It's going to be a long winter. Wish I had a green house!

I feel very poor pot wise. I do have 40 brugs to pot up this week. I don't have a clue what I am going to do with that many.

Pray on newbies! That's what happens to brugaholics you know, they spread the disease in order to further their own collection! lol :)
