This grew in my yard several yrs. ago,trained it to become a tree,I don't know what it's called.Would appreciate if you can identify this plant for me.Thank you

I wonder if it is a Tamarix. Here is one I saw that I just adored though I believe it is considered a pest in some areas as it reseeds too easily.
