Morning Glories 2017 #16

Jacksonville, AR(Zone 7b)

You don't have to be sorry Debra. Just getting my point across. :-)

(Linda Kay) Amarill, TX(Zone 7a)

I may post repeats, but I will be here.
Whats wrong with your daughter Jackie? Sending prayers.

Jacksonville, AR(Zone 7b)

Linda, my dd has lupus we're just sure of it. She also has symptoms of MS and the neurologist just gave her meds they treat ms with and she has responded favorably.
He told her to take 900 mg's a day so he knows it's already advanced. There was a week when she could barely walk.. We'll be going to a rheumatologist in Dec
about the lupus and hopefully to rule out leukemia.

(Debra) Derby, KS(Zone 6a)

Prayers for your daughter, every day, Jackie. You are a wonderful caring mother.

Thanks Debra. I just have to be there for her every day.

Sorry to hear that Jackie, sending prayers from Texas.
My daughter in law has lupus, and it is not something easy to live with.

Gautier, MS

Sending prayers for you daughter too Jackie. I know it's not easy to be growing through this.

I got a few blooms from my higes outside since the weather warmed up a bit. The Indica has blooms high up the tree branches.

I appreciate the prayers Linda and Helena..
Beautiful blooms Helena. Glad you're still getting blooms and
wish I was.

(Debra) Derby, KS(Zone 6a)

Nice blooms, Helena. I love the stripes and I am glad you gave us something pretty to look at! I wish I could remember what I indica looks like. I need to go gather up the seed pods from the white Hige, I hope they didn't get ruined from the freeze we had.

(Linda Kay) Amarill, TX(Zone 7a)

Beautiful blooms Helena.

Thanks Jackie, Debra and Linda.

A few pics of my wild Indica blooms from this morning, close ups with my better camera. This tree gives tons of acorns for the squirrels, leaves and a mess of left over acorns to clean up every year.

Helena, those are beautiful.

Love your indica Helena, so pretty, Mine hasn't bloomed since early summer.
except 1 or 2 blooms. Needing bigger pot I'm sure
Lav Saz changed bloom due to the cooler temps
Mauve splash changed for the same reason
My seed pods are ruined on the nils I left out ;-(

Jackie, those blooms are so pretty.
Why are your seeds ruined?

(Debra) Derby, KS(Zone 6a)

very pretty, Helena. I wished I could keep one of those going. I think they are perennial in your zone? Jackie , your blooms are very beautiful, can't believe they are still going! None outside, but I do have this blue fuji? going. and the pure white one, and another one I can't ID. Plz ignore the ugly basement ceiling. I'm wondering if the white is pearly gates, but I thought it was a tri-color and this is an i nil. Sorry about losing your seed pods, I always see if they are black and if they are, I pick them and drop one into a small glass of water to see if it sinks. ( After a freeze) I have the purple star and the mauve splash for the three of you, tho.

Linda, I thought the sd pods I had left out on the vine had at least 1 sd in each in them. Instead when i opened them they had turned to mush. Think thats the 1st
time thats happened to me, strange. The purps are fine being hardier.
Debra, These were just some extra sds i was waiting on to ripen. I had
collected most of them already.

Thanks ladies. I can see my indica blooms from my kitchen window so don't mind doing dishes and look at them. Neat color at 5 pm, posting pictures, blue in morning pinkish lavender in evening.

Pretty neat blooms Jackie, I do like when the blooms change color b/c of weather or later on the day.
Pretty blooms too Debra. I do that trick too, always disappointing if the seeds float instead of sinking. I'm happy you are getting so many blooms.

I had no idea, the seeds would freeze. Thanks for letting me know the secret of placing in water also.
Beautiful blooms everyone.

(Debra) Derby, KS(Zone 6a)

Well, I do it with all seeds, I give them a couple days, tho. I had 100% germination swell on the last 6- 4 o clocks seeds, but two of them floated for a day. Going to be colder tomorrow! YUK! I had 6 squishy seed pods on the flying saucers.. they took too long to dry out or winter came too fast, one or the other..
Helena, I'd do the dishes all the time if I had that view... :D
love them.

Gautier, MS

Pink blooms from 3 different vines outside this morning! Bud for Gypsy Bride for tomorrow in gh!

Debra, I wonder if we had some rain b4 my sd pods froze, must have but I
would have sworn it was just dry and cold. Might have rained the next day tho.

Beautiful blooms Helena, eager to see Gypsy Brides new bloom tomorrow.
