Hi Everyone, a friend just gave me a tree yucca cutting after trimming his tree (Yucca gigantea/elephantipes) with a stem about 3 feet long. They can be grown as outdoor trees in our climate. What's the best way to root it, I've never had experience with a cutting this long. Root hormone then soil? Just soil? Indoors or outdoors, no sun exposure, regular sun? Somebody even suggested just to put it in a corner indoors in a bucket of plain water and wait to see roots then plant it outside. What's the best method? Thanks for your help.
