My hibiscus plants "seem" healthy, and flower, and most of the leaves are dark green. However they experience chronic leaf yellowing. Can anyone give some insight into what I need to adjust?
I live in Phoenix and have planted 5 Hibiscus, 2 in large clay pots and 3 in the ground. All get a lot of sun and of course high temps in the summer.
When I insert a soil moisture meter, it usually indicates "medium wet" in most spots, and sometimes dry in a spot not covered by the drip line.
They've been planted about 5 months, and are on a drip that waters the pots 54 min every 5 days, and the ground plants every 5 days for 2 H.
They are In standard garden soil, and I occasionally water with miracle grow (once a month in addition to the drip).
The leaves are not dry/crunchy as in dehydration. I think it's been too long for it to be transplant shock?
