I'll be the first to admit that I have a brown thumb, but most of my plants take care of themselves with little to no maintenance. This Italian Cypress was one of them until we noticed some branches discoloring and looking brown. I assumed it was just the heat of this scorching New Orleans summer, but it progressed to this point and looks like it's about to kick the bucket. Can anyone help me figure out what's wrong with it and how to fix it?
Not only do I love the tree, but my homeowners association requires us to have a minimum of 3 trees in the front yard, meaning that I'll have to replace this one with another full grown tree if it dies (which is something I'd rather not have to do at the moment).
