Help! Not sure what is eating my plants

I just noticed these brown spots on most of the plants in my front yard - some established, some new. Anyone have any idea what this is...bug, virus, fungus...and how to treat it? Thanks so much!

Did you have a late frost? We did here and some plants that were already leafing out suffered damage. Your plant is ilex verticillata?
Remove the damages leaves and see if it continues to appear.

Thanks, Loretta, I'll see if I get any more of this damage after removing some of the affected leaves.
