The pawpaw on the left had been growing more vigorously than the one on the right; we've had both for maybe 3-4 years. We noticed the one on the left shriveling up and found gaping holes at the base of the trunk. Any guess as to what the culprit is and what can be done?
dying pawpaw tree
I see something tied around the base of one of the stems. The stem might be damaged by whatever is tied.
