I received a beautiful peace lily a month ago and repotted it immediately. It was completely rootbound. It looked ok for a few weeks but now is constantly droopy even after watering it. Also the water that is collecting in the saucer below it is brown and somewhat smelly (though I can't smell well due to having a stuffy nose). Could this be root rot?
Peace lily
Are you able to carefully look at the roots and see if they are still white?
It actually stopped smelling. It did lose some of its leaves but has rebounded completely!
