Hi, I would appreciate ANY help with this - even if it's "just give up now" ;)
I have a soil testing kit. It tests for potash, PH, Nitrates, and Phosphorous. I took a soil sample per instructions, proceeded with tests, and I came up with; Ph - slightly acidic, Potash - Very Low, Nitrogen - very low, P - skipped it.
This seemed crazy since clay soil is supposed to be loaded with good stuff (so I have read). I also have pond testing strips, so I added extremely neutral water to the soil (neutral as in, reverse osmosis 6.9-7.0ph
Mid-Atlantic clay soil with NO nutrients?
