Looking for an evergreen groundcover for a shady slope in zone 6b. Any suggestions would be great. Thanks!
Ground cover ideas
Vinca minor
Pachysandra terminalis
Coptis laciniata may be hardy enough
Asarum species may be evergreen in your area
A very steep slope will pose some challenges
I am looking at the same problem except 7b. Am thinking of trying some cold hardy succulents. Kind of a new favorite for the last 3 years. Am kind of done with the whole water wasting plan.
I will watch and see what you decide. Goodluck.
Pachysandra would be an ideal ground cover for those two zones. I have a large patch that has been there many years. It propagates itself and will eventually cover a large area.
