I just found out that my local Starbucks will save me some used coffee grounds for the asking. I'm heading over there in a few to pick them up. This seems like a great organic matter source since there's a Starbucks in most every city around.
Free *USED* coffee grounds at Starbucks
I pick up an average of 60-75 lbs. a week for my compost pile.....
You can NEVER have enough coffee grounds on hand!
Throw a thin layer on your lawn to get the earthworms churning up underground. Will help with conserving water in the summertime.
