Saw this plant as a border shrub at someone's home. Zone 10. Any ideas what it might be? Inside of the fruit was white and sort of an odd waxy texture, not really "juicy."
Plant I.D.- Florida shrub with fruit
Answered the question for myself, it is a cocoplum plant, in case anyone else wants to know. The berries are edible as well.
