Living in Wisconsin has forced me to use pots for a lot of my growing indoors during winter (then moving pots and/or transplanting outside during summer). Still have lots to learn. I was wondering if there is a good way to take part of this plant and grow another plant of Thyme (in another pot of course)? How should I do this (it is very thick)? How do u harvest seed from Thyme? Or is this only grown from clippings? Any information from your experiences would be greatly appreciated.
Thyme
The easiest way to propagate it is to divide the rootball.
Divide the root itself? Won't that shock the plant to much?
