I bought a little Orostrachys online. It arrived today as a small rosette with another tiny rosette, but both rosettes are in bloom. They're in a half-empty 2" pot.
These are monocarpic plants. Is there something I don't understand, or did I just buy a plant that's doomed to die in a few weeks and there's nothing I can do about it?
Doomed Orostrachys
You could check-in with the seller, especially if you have concerns or if you are unhappy with your purchase.
No, you have it right - each rosette is monocarpic, and unless non-blooming rosettes quickly form, that's it. If it sets seed, you may be in luck.
