Last winter i ordered some tree seeds just like most of us, just to watch them grow. 100 ginkgo seeds, 50 bristle cone pine, and some Norway spruce seeds i collected. I started the seeds in a unheated part of my home in hopes of prolonging the germation until I could put them outside. I live in Wisconsin and planted the seeds 1/1/16. The unheated room stayed between 40°f and 30°. The bristle cones and spruce trees sprouted within a week at those temps witch surprised me. Almost all of the bristlecones sprouted. Maybe 30% of the spruce did. The ginkgo seed....well after growing them i relized there in no hurry.
