Majesty Palm, fronds bending

My majesty palm has a sudden growth spurt of new fronds popping up. They open up while the stems are still really small and short, and then bend from their own weight. A couple older and larger fronds have bent as well. The tips are brown, but i know that is due to low humidity. I'm in Dallas, TX and the palm is in partial sun for half of the day and in shade for the remaining day.
