My Mom's garden has been neglected for 2 years while she was away. I am trying to salvage the 2 remaining Rhubarb plants in her garden - How best to save these? I plan to get rid of the weeds, leave the Rhubarb where they are, I don't think that it is advisable to transplant them after the weeds have come out. Weeds are long and stringy, any advise how to get rid of such weeds which run deep?
What advise for the Rhubarb plants? Fertilize? Over top the soil? Location is Newfoundland, Zone is 6a/6b.
