Gautier, MS

Thanks ladies. Very true Debra and Jackie on anticipation of blooms and seeds!
Debra that is pink porcelain. I found a baggie of BB seeds I want to start, it's not too late for me yet.

Blooms from this morning. I hope these are not blurry. Last one is berry ice.

I agree with you,
.

Helena, those are beautiful blooms!

Jacksonville, AR(Zone 7b)

Helena, gorgeous blooms this morning. The Kikyou is such a beauty. Is that 2 different Kikyou vines you have going? Love that chocolate too.
Berry ice looks a lot like Xiong's Chinese and they might be the same mg.
Helena, hope you get to start a BB. Ive really enjoyed mine this summer
I need to go look at the possible tag on this one, Cameo elegance or Blues pretty nil, almost a red. a small bloom so i think it's Cameo elegance.
# 2 is a C of V on the fence
# 3 a lovely LYK with flecks
# 4 Pink Porcelain ?
# 5 Blushing Bride? a huge bloom

Thanks Linda K.

There was a 5.6 earthquake in Oklahoma this morning, news said it was felt in Texas and Arkansas. Did anyone here feel it?

Jacksonville, AR(Zone 7b)

i didn't feel a thing. Wonder what time it hit??
Helena, I found a tag in one of my tubs that reads Blue Rayed from azuremores.
Do you have a pic you could share of what it looks like? If you don't have time, don't worry about it. I know you have your hands full with small children,
No name on this 1st one, Helena do you recognize? I don't know why i was so careless with my tags this yr,
# 2 ...I think this is Aog from the color alone.
Cameo elegans which goes with the highly varieg lvs. The lvs alone tell me its Cameo.
# 4 an unknown Lavender
# 5 another Aog

Jackie, I love all your gorgeous blooms. The colors are very vivid on Cameo, I grew that one ages ago. Really like the dark blue color stripes on C of V too. The blue with specks could be Starry Nights but really couldn't say. Your PP looks good and BB awesome.
Your 2nd set lavender bloom could be Mauve Splash or even Raiko, I've seem blooms similar to what you had. Awesome Ao blooms you have, to die for. That lavender similar like Hattie, Dany had similar blooms that he called Lav. Wedding Bells. The blooms were a little bigger.

My repeat blooms, I missed 2 that were on the other side of the yard. I need to move them so I don't do that again. I have 3 kikyou vines in one big pot. One of the vines had that redish color but today the bloom is blue. First bloom is Dream Catcher.

Helena, thank you so much for that info, very helpful. I wondered about the color on # 1, looking to be the color of MS but maybe it is Raiko I also thought my lav might be Hattie Bell since I planted one and it hasn't showed up yet. I do remember Dany's pretty Lav Wedding Bells looking very similar.
Beautiful blooms you have today, Dream catcher is lovely with its understated color.
Striking color and pattern on your Kikyo, beautiful MS one of my favorites.

A pretty bloom on my speckled today.

Linda, my Dh did say he was at the computer this morning about 730 and his chair moved on its own. I was sound asleep so didn't feel or hear a thing

Quake hit about 7 yesterday morning.

Beautiful blooms everyone.

Gautier, MS

Jackie, your welcome. I remember Hattie Bell as being a great bloomer. Love your pink speckled boom.

It seems our world is filled with tragedies. Glad we still can have our blooms to scape.

Blooming today my Rebecca with white center, pink porcelain after a light rain. A visit from my little turtle friend!

Jacksonville, AR(Zone 7b)

Great blooms Helena. Very unusual pattern on your Rebecca.
I enjoy watching turtles
and frogs.
Blue Blizzards 1st bloom with her lime green lvs. As usual a deformed 1st bloom.

Jackie, that is a beautiful bloom against the lime leaves.

Gautier, MS

Thanks ladies. I don't know much about the turtle, I think you guys said something about it being some kind of box turtle.

Love your pretty bloom Jackie. I'm sure future blooms will improve. Nice lime leaves too.

Jacksonville, AR(Zone 7b)

Thanks Linda and Helena. Took a long time for this one to set buds, months even.
I won't be surprised if I don't get many blooms from it. Amazing I got any blooms with it in bright light but no sun.

Gautier, MS

Jackie, sometimes we just have to play the waiting game, been there done that.

Cloudy day here, more rain coming. Lucky to see a few blooms. Odd color on Back Queen. Tiger Hige that's tame. Fuchsia and faithful pink porcelain.

I lost you all and these beautiful posts while traveling, really nice blooms! the quake hit around 7 am while we were in air, all three of my kids said it was really so bad that it woke them up and scared all the grand cats.. Rose said nothing fell off the walls or shelves this time . ( it has made that happen other times) I kind of re-arranged things after the last quake we felt. Derby is about 100 miles from oklahoma, maybe closer actually.. but we are okay. Sure love those blooms! Keep posting, I will try to keep up.. PS: LOVE that turtle!

Jacksonville, AR(Zone 7b)

Love your blooms Debra. Especially the higes as we've had so few of
those this summer. Your bloom from Helenas seeds is beautiful.

Jacksonville, AR(Zone 7b)

Oops, missed your 2 other sets of pics Debra. Great blooms you're getting.
Love the beautiful pink mg (beautiful color) and purple bloom in pic # 3 in 2nd set
Never seen a white caterpillar. the 4 o'clock is very pretty.

(Linda Kay) Amarill, TX(Zone 7a)

Morning everyone.

Awesome blooms you are all posting.

Enjoy your trip Debra.

Gautier, MS

Thanks ladies. We had more rain and I haven't taken pics yet. Not much blooming either.
Jackie, beautiful blooms. Neat blue blooms from Keiruy, love your lavender and fuchsia bloom too.

Debra, enjoy your trip. Glad you get to help your friend gardening. So glad you posted your blooms before you left. Your garden looks awesome. Really neat how the blooms do something neat like the lavender one. Can't say I ever saw a white caterpillar either but it neat. Love wildlife. I have butterflies and hummers here, getting close to migration.

Jacksonville, AR(Zone 7b)

Thanks ladies. Not many blooms here either Helena.
Although tired of the heat, i hate to think about our summer ending. :-(

(Debra) Derby, KS(Zone 6a)

me too! Well that cute lil catepillar is an ugly ole miller moth LOL
I went down to see the wild pink mg ( the one that is like 2 inches round) and the city has cut it back due to the new Bike Path that winds all around the town to downtown Buffalo. I'll be seeing Joe's sisters glorys tomorrow, but she told me at lunch today that they haven't done well this year , she thinks it is because of the drought Buffalo is in .. ( it is bad) Some ash borer is killing all the ash trees around the town , too. meanwhile, I found some things to gaze at in Greta's back yard..

Lovely Fuchsia's and geraniums in Greta's yard.

(Linda Kay) Amarill, TX(Zone 7a)

Debra, those are beautiful flowers.
How long are you there for?

(Debra) Derby, KS(Zone 6a)

We go back home Saturday, Linda. I am watering everything real good, cuz they will all dry up, since she has such a hard time getting out there.. it is 87 out and that is hotter than you know what for Buffalo.. who is in a drought. Usually it is nice and cool, raining every few days and such. Not this trip! So far, we have gotten her drain problem fixed ( 400.00!) and bought her a new lawn mower since the other one crapped out.. Joe has mowed both front and back for her. He is such a great son. Sets a good example to his younger siblings who live up here. ( I have only seen two of them come by since we have been here..)

I know she appreciates your visit and your help.

Beautiful blooms Jackie. Never heard of the last one. Had to look it up. Will it get the orange blooms?

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Erythrina

Jacksonville, AR(Zone 7b)

Thanks Linda. It should get the coral or orange blooms but I can't remember
what they will look like. Will check it out as soon as I get time. I only started the sd this past spring. I don;t know if its a summer or winter bloomer. I figured I'would not get blooms till its 2nd yr or later.. I;ve got sds to the lovely Crista Galli ?? if I can find them.

Gautier, MS

Pretty blooms Debra up North. Glad your hubby can help his mom out.

Love your Ao Jackie and other pretty blooms. Hope you get real pretty blooms from your Erythrina. I use to have a few different ones too.

These are my blooms for today.

That first bloom did not look blurry when I downloaded it or else I would have deleted it.

Jackie, that second bloom and AO are gorgeous.
LK, I thought I sent you that Erythrina tree already? it has thorns I think .. I started 2 from seed and sent two away..
Helena, love the first one blurry or not, is it star of inda?
took her ( Greta) out to eat tonight to the Anchor Bar for wings of all things! LOL

Jacksonville, AR(Zone 7b)

Thanks Helena and Debra.
Debra, I wonder if Helenas 1st one could be Xiongs chinese? Love
all your blooms Helena. Nice color on Carnival of Venice and
pretty dark blooms.

Gautier, MS

Thanks ladies. Debra, it does resemble Star of India except for the color. Jackie you might be right. I kind of think that some mgs names have been changed, too many blooms resemble each other or (named ones).
Blooms from this morning.
