We have many of these lovely, easy to grow, hardy Johnny Jump Ups growing in our lawn! Not in the flower garden where we want them!. How best to move/transplant them to the garden where we want them to grow? Otherwise they get mowed with the lawn mower. Can they be transplanted from a lawn into the garden? Best techniques and timing of year? We often don't know that they are in the lawn, not until they bloom.
Johnny Jump Up Pansy/Viola
I would do it next month, they still will be blooming so you can find them, it will have cooled off a bit so they will be able to establish in their new home. You can do it now, but you will need to water often or they will dry up.
